Perfection: It's what we do.
Please follow the steps below carefully to ensure a proper measurement.
1. Your Kitchen
Grab a pencil and paper. Draw a basic outline of the diameters of the room and indicate where indentations, windows, doors etc. are situated. Don't forget to measure the ceiling height of the room and jot it down on the paper.
2. Windows & Doors
Carefully measure the height, width, depth of all windows and doors, including any moldings and trimming.
3. Diameter
Diameter of room should be measured, wall-to-wall, as follows: start at one corner of the room and measure until window or door (or until next corner, if no windows or doors on that wall). Start measuring again from beyond the window, door (or corner) until the next window, door or corner, and continue this routine until you go around the entire room and reach the corner where you began measuring. Clearly jot down all the measurements.
4. Interferences
As you measure, you will encounter unmovable obstacles such as sink pipes, gas lines and other items protruding from the walls. Carefully measure the depth of each interfering item to the wall on either side of it. Jot this down clearly on the paper.
5. Fridge, Dishwasher etc.
Note the measurements (depth, width and height) of each of your kitchen appliances, including the refrigerator, dishwasher, range, oven etc. and indicate the exact location for each of the appliances in your kitchen.
